TASK: Choose one or two stills of characters from your own movie opening and compare how they are represented (similarities/differences) to one or two stills from characters in a real movie opening which has inspired you.
Our product represents a young girl being haunted as they are seen to be a easy and weak target to act on within movies. This is very common with a lot of movies such as 'The Unborn', but these type of roles are played especially in asian movies such as 'Alone' (translated) and we have used the representation very well as we have also used an Asian actor.
Along with the victim, there is obviously the one who haunts them. The opposite of young and sweet innocent girls tend to play this part. Movies such as 'Paranormal Activity 2' and 'The Ring' does this. The dead/possessed girls usually play the part as the movie may reflect on its past on living a bad life, holding grudges, revenge or something similar.
